Run! 12/03/29 Lunch run

5km/30min. It's my first run in lunch time. Seems a good fit into working schedule :) Hope I can be motivated enough to keep it going!

Run! 12/03/26 gym run

I planned for 10km, but started to get a familiar pain at left toe around 7km. Blister again -__-

So I stopped at 7.25km/45min. Well, not too bad, isn't it? :)

Run! 12/03/20 Night run

GPS didn't work, so I have no record of distance. Should be some 3.x km/30 min.

Even with ample lights, night run still feels more quiet and private, in particular when I can stay away from the traffic thanks to the woods in the park. Missing the nighttime in the mountain huts...

Run! 12/03/15 Morning "trail" run

Who can imagine that Beijing also has such beautiful morning :) The "hills" are right by the river, about 30 meters high, with a zigzag trail along the ridge.

Did a rough round, but actually on different trails going on parallel right next to each other. Will do this route more in future.

Run! 12/03/08 Lake-2-lake trail@Bellevue

Lake-2-lake is a classical trail in Bellevue, about 10 miles one way, connecting Washington Lake to Phantom Lake. Although generally well-indicated with labels and notes, it's not easy to keep the right direction across the complex road web in the US, even in Bellevue, one of the most runner-friendly cities. I have followed it in several tries. Here it is only a small part of the trail, but still got a quite good overall impression of its style.

The first section starting from Washington Lake is of course enjoyable. However, if you run in the direction that start here, you'll be running away from the lake, so probably not much lake view. The middle part cross the city center is just so so. The intersting part starts from Bellefield Office Park where one runs over creeks and woods. After crossing the 405 highway, Wilburton Hill Park offers more natural feeling. Greenfields and parks then link all the way via Larsen Lake until Phantom Lake.

Hope to have the chance to cover it in one run sometime!
